With some more email-ing, we found that

/opt/kde3/lib/kde3/libkmplayerpart.so: undefined symbol:
_ZN8KMPlayer8PartBase7processERK8QCStringRK9QMemArrayIcERS1_RS5_
kio (KMimeType): WARNING: KServiceType::offers : servicetype
application/x-activex-handler not found

was the cause. This is
 KMPlayer::PartBase::process(QCString const&, QMemArray<char> const&,
                             QCString&, QMemArray<char>&)
and coming from kdelibs/interfaces/kmediaplayer/playerdcopobject.h, at
least kmplayer doesn't have such a function.

This is the first time I hear of this and, strangely enough, 0.9.1 had
for him no problem (these two have only a small diff, no methods added
AFAIR).
The configure does enable the visibility flags if Qt is properly patched,
which seem to be the case judging his configure log. Also, its not on a
amd64 but on a P4 system.

What can it be?
