Timeout opening SSL banking site

I am unable to open my banks SSL login page with
konqueror 3.2.2, but mozilla is able to view it.

To demonstrate, go to http://www.amsouth.com and move
mouse over the "personal finance" label on the top
left (the first heading under "products & services")
and click on the 3rd submenu "internet banking login".
 On konqueror the login page never appears but renders
fine in mozilla.

This is running in knoppix 3.4 live CD.

Is there anything I can do to get konqueror to render
