Suggestion: Indirect drag and drop

Hi,

Unable to find the equivalent of a "suggestion box" on the web site, I
figured I'd try here...

We are all familiar with the concept of dragging a file onto an
executable to have the file opened by that program... but how about
this: drag a file onto another file to have them opened by a program in
a particular way.

EG:

drag audio.mp3 onto video.avi to run "gmplayer video.avi -audiofile
audio.mp3"
(I want to be able to select which audio if there is more than one)

I imagine a tab in the file type dialog that lists "dropped type" and
"command"
MP3 gmplayer %1 -audiofile %2
WAV gmplayer %1 -audiofile %2
etc...

I'm not subscribed to the list, so please reply via email if I have
missed some way to do this.
Mike

PS. I'd also like to add a "hard link here" option when dropping a file
on a directory, but haven't found where to modify the context menu yet.....
