Syncing Bookmarks via CVS

That sounds good. Would the hack go into 3.2 and the proper solution into 3.3? 
Concerning the security issue, I think it could be a problem, if the 
applicaiton runs with an s bit, but emacs does, many other apps do, I cannot 
imagine a security issue.
