Future of khtml widgets

Hi,

Just a stupid question about khtml rendering and CSS.
It will be possible with future version of CSS to put round corners to button 
or textarea, to put colors in combo box, to put background images in 
textarea.
Gecko does that but it uses his own toolkit and not GTK (Mozilla toolkit) for 
that.
What about Konqueror ? Will it be possible for konqueror to do so with the 
normal widgets or will khtml have is own widegets ? I suppose that the second 
solution is the only way. It will be very cool if khtml can have this CSS 
features. I am waiting this impatiently :)
