a return char in HREF shown as a space char

Hi,
	I'm using Konqueror ( from CVS HEAD from about 2 days ago ).
The page http://website.openoffice.org/tryouts/misc/sitemap.html has links 
which have a return in href but it seems to behave as if it is a space.
Is this correct ?
HTML like :
<li>
                <a href="http://www.openoffice.org/editorial/ec09Nov.html">
                How you can help</a></li>

                <li>
                <a href="http://website.openoffice.org/developer/">How
                developers can help</a></li>

The first looks like it has a space before the text but the second does not!
Is this correct ?
