The background is in the write statement later in refreshPage(). Actually the
background attribute doesn't need to be there in that statement.

Yes you can also do it using CSS, but it really makes no difference, other than
the first one isn't valid XHTML, but really, none of the HTML code in Kopete is,
its HTML 4.01, so it doesn't matter.
