Sorry for breaking the thread, but I'm not subscribed and the news mirroring 
is not working correctly, so I read the answers on the web interface.

I do. This is why it's bothering me. If I wouldn't use, I wouldn't care about.

Well, I would remove only the extra dialog with the lineedit and bring up 
directly a File Open dialog. Just to make it easier to use.
