DHTML Filters

Has there been any discussion regarding the implementation of DHTML filters 
for KHTML?  It doesn't even matter to me if the filters are actually 
implemented or not, but putting in stubs would be a good idea I think (at 
least with IE useragents) because it seems like there are sites out there 
that assume all browsers have this.  It results in an exception being thrown 
presently.
