This should really not be happening. but I just tried, its indeed the case. 
but worse, if I add another selector that matches it, the behaviour is 
correct again. 

Really weird. There is something utterly wrong..

Oh, and no, I don't think we're ever going to render this page right. 
try lowering the width of the other table to 300, and you see what I mean..
