You mean improvements - not changes :-)

Try ctrl-alt-esc and then klick onto the java console. This is more
comfortable.
But seriously. You are right and I noticed that too. It occurs sometimes and
reloading the page often 'solves' the problem here. As a workaround, I
recommend, that you set the timeout for the java server to 0 in konqi java
settings. Then the console will close when you leave the page, even when it
is freezed. And reloading the jvm lasts not as long as the first time grace
to unix caching mechanisms.
It seems to be a problem with some wrong synchronization in the java code.
I'll try to fix it next week, earlier isn't possible.

No doubt, that it is useless. This is a problem which persists since a long
time. In a fresh browser, the first time it works, afterwards it is always
too small. Even closing the browser and reopening a new one doesn't help -
only restarting kde. Does this ring bells in anyones brain ??
This is definitively not a problem in the java part. I guess it has something
to do with the size of the applet set to width=100%, height=100% in the
applet tag. It needs further investigation and debugging. Feel free to do so.
A simple testcase would be very useful.
Hint: on http://www.shellinabox.com, the same applet works always.

Not all problems can be solved in one day (or week ;). But I'm sure we'll sort
them out. Perhaps with your help and a bit more information:
- which jvm
- steps to reproduce (always reproducable?)
- where does it stop ? does the bean blink ?
- connection speed
- cpu speed

Greetings, till
