Read my response to Dirks mail and then tell me why you reverted my patch.

Let's do it like they do it at court: a patch is considered ok until its 
harmfulness is proven. Why do I have to defend my patch against your 
superficial comment "I don't think it makes sense"?

Can you tell me why it is wrong?
