Are you going to fix all the web pages out there?
Please understand that we're developing a browser here, not a web page.
So we have to support whatever web page designers use, even if that stuff
has been deprecated by the latest w3c specs.

Right. But they can have the same name. And that happens often, and is
part of the (MSIE at least) specs.
