Yes, and Dirk requested do not post any new bug report concerning tables, as 
he was going to fix table layout *now and forever*.
I also not sure what the current status is.
But it's better do not release KDE 3.1beta1 without fix for table layout. We 
will get numerous bug reports, which would be useless.
