There is no 'crash' window, kexi evaporates totally. I have just
revisited this (as superuser)

Insert a 'text box' into blank area of page and it crashes
That is widget 4 from left on 'Form Design' tab

Insert a 'text editor' into blank area of page and we are up, up, &
away!
This is widget 5 from left on 'Form Design' tab
