[Kexi] Query criteria problem

The handbook doesn't include query information.

In the GUI query designer, I try to use      like 'abc%'
as a criterion, but the query designer rejects this syntax.

I've tried as many variations as I could dream up, but nothing is accepted.
I have tried both version 0.9 and 1.0 beta, and both behave the same.

As a side note, what is the meaning of the "totals" column just before the
"criteria" column?
