Hi Ian,
Even we, Calligra fans see that CD is of a limited size, so only
popular or must-have apps are picked apparently.
This was the case for the original Ubuntu if I remember correctly.
Calligra can be added by installing it with the package manager I think.

Still if you have time and energy, I recommend Kexi 2.9.x compilation,
what is easy if you keep the same system that you used for previous
compilations (Kexi 2.8.x).
