Be careful grabbing kdevelop 4.2 for openSuSE

I just assumed getting anything from

http://software.opensuse.org/search?q=kdevelop4&baseproject=openSUSE%3A11.3&lang=en&exclude_filter=home%3A&exclude_debug=true

for openSuSE 11.3 was OK

Little did I think my original very stable KDE on openSuSE 11.3 would be
made unstable by kdevelop 4.2 pulling KDE 4.6 along with it.

kdevelop 4.2 work great if you work from GNOME, however my base environment
is KDE and I royally hosed my original KDE environment

For those of you wanting kdevelop 4.2 and can't wait until there is an
official release of KDE 4.6 with the next version of openSUSE please consult
the article at URL

http://blog.pdark.de/2010/08/11/could-not-start-ksmserver-check-install/

I took the advice of Lindsay Roberts says:

However, in doing so I had manually grab a number of rpm's to fix
application such as konqueror & dolphin

So in the long run you are probably better off in doing what the original
article said

Good luck
Michael

BTW below is where I got kdevelop 4.2 for openSuSE 11.3
