Slowness

I have had the same problem, but with all the KDE applications. Those
that have more controls seem to get the hit first though. At the same
time, no-KDE apps (emacs for instance) was speedy as usual.

>From some talks on irc, bug lists, mailing lists and forums, it seems it
was related to the video drivers, leaking kwin effects or some similar
problems. However, speaking to KDE developers it seems most don't leave
computers on for more days, so this may take a while to get fixed.
