Crash on startup

Hello, again.

OK, now I downloaded the Berkeley DB 4.6.1 from the Oracle site, compiled it 
and installed.
I did not recompiled/reinstalled kdevelop, as I take rpm file from the site.
Is it OK?

The result was: the first kdevelop run occupied CPU 100%. After 6min I gave up 
and canceled it. The next run crashes almost immediately.

What can I do/check/test more?
Should I change the distro? What is recommended one?
