I downgraded to 2006q3-27 release of the codesourcery toolchain that comes 
with GNU gdb (CodeSourcery Sourcery G++ 2006q3-27) 6.5.50.20060822-cvs.

So far it seems to work fine with KDevelop. Thanks.
