grepview has not been ported at all yet, I'm not sure its current
implementation would allow that...

That depends on what you want to test. Currently there's not much, but
after GSoC we (hopefully) have Code completion for all language plugins
and CMake support. I also think QMake support will be better at that
point.
Also currently 2 of our core developers don't have any time for hacking,
which hopefully changes after akademy.
So all in all, I think we should be able to eat our own dogfood sometime
between the first beta of KDE4 and the first rc (or at least I hope that
that will be possible).
But you can already check it out and test things now, for example I
didn't try the cvs or svn support that exists already. Neither did
anybody extensively test the designer plugin or teamwork code. So
feedback on those is welcome. Editing files should work, C++ files might
crash kdevelop if you build the c++ support.
