svn+ssh check out problem?

Hi,all:

I've read the SVN plugin FAQ and have ssh-askpass installed.
Then I create a new project and use svn to checkout the source code tree,
I input the reposity address "svn+ssh://remote_user@hostip/path_to_repo/"
but ssh-pass keeps asking the password of my local username.
How to solve this?

btw:
when I enter the address word by word, ssh-pass dialog keeps poping up
encounting "/", which makes me confusing.
