how to seperate project files from source files in different dirs?

1- Just create a new project, (Project -> New Project) and take a look at the 
files KDevelop creates.
2- Put all the files (except *.kdevelop and *.kdevses) under SVN
3- Compile the project.

VERY important: do NOT do step 3 before step 2  !!!!
