cvs -d<your CVSROOT> co -d <some/path> <yourproject>

Then start kdevelop and open the kdevelop-project-file
(<yourproject>.kdevelop). That's it. If you're not versioning the .kdev*
files than you probably have to use the import project functionality
after checking out the project.
