Widget to draw lines in exist?

Hi.
I want to draw lines to display somewhat like
surface rogousity of a plain.

http://women.kde.org/articles/tutorials/kdevelop3/
gave me dialog sample application which works as it is.

So I wish to know if I could place picture-box widget
where I can draw lines in.

Are there something like this?

or.. There is no such a thing?
