Click on this text with the right mouse buttom and select "Full compiler 
output". It will give you more descriptive  error messages.

You need to add the files to the project.
If it's a automake/autotools base project, use the project manager on the 
right side of KDevelop or read chapter

If it's a custom makefiles based, you have a problem: :-(
