Stability of KDevelop 3.1

Hello,

I have been using a self-compiled version of KDevelop 3.1 (checked out
from CVS) for a while now (since late September) and experiencing very
frequent crashes (several crashes a day are typical, and they happen
on random occasions).

I wonder if it is due to my setup or if it simply reflects the current
(lack of) stability of this branch (or of the product). Can anyone
confirm or contradict the above observations?

I use SuSE 9.0 with KDE upgraded to 3.3.1 (using SuSE's RPMs) and
Qt similarly upgraded to 3.3.3. I use KDevelop to write Qt code,
hopping between several medium-sized projects (250 KLOC) managed
by QMake.

I have been capturing backtraces and the one recurring element
seems to be a call to "QXIMInputContext::setMicroFocus".
