install problem on mdk 10.0

I assume that  kdevelop-3.1.1 would overwrite kdevelop-3.0.4 ...
I did: find / -name "kdevelop" -print and here is my result:

/use/bin/kdevelop (3.1.1)
/usr/local/kde/bin/kdevelop (3.04)


This is weird because I was not aware about the  existence of kdevelop 
3.04  in /usr/local/kde/bin.
I used the kdevelop-3.04 which was installed in /usr/bin where the new 
kdevelop-3.1.1 is copied now.

I don't know if it could help to diagnose my problem but I also used to 
install the  mandrake official kdevelop 3.0 RPM package through their 
upgrade procedure ...  I had uninstalled mandrake kdevelop-3.0 prior 
installing kdevelop-3.1.1.

If you think about some version conflict , how I could I "clean up" the 
old config ?
