kdevelop is slow is opening a project

It would be really intersting to see which rc file is the problem.

Hard to say. It's not a common problem, but it could be a compatibility 
problem with something in your platform.

For one thing, try updating to a newer release. 3.0.1 is pretty old and there 
have been several releases since then.

The recommended version is the just released KDevelop-3.1.2.
