Without a backtrace it's simply impossible to say what the cause of your crash 
is. It is however worth noting that you are running 3.0.1 - the latest 3.0.x 
bugfix release is 3.0.4 and it's not unlikely that your problem has already 
been fixed. Please update.

Or try the new release - KDevelop-3.1 - due out in a few weeks (together with 
KDE-3.3)
