Vi as Editor

I do have kvim installed, version 6.1, and kdevelop 3.0.a7. As editor option I 
have the embedded and the Qt editors only. So, do I need some specific kvim 
version? Should I look somewhere else rather than settings -> configure 
gideon -> editors ?
