Configure error

Hi,

When I tried to compile the latest  CVS version of KDevelop I received 
the following error:

checking for kconfig_compiler... not found
configure: error: The important program kconfig_compiler was not found!
Please check whether you installed KDE correctly.

KDE is 3.1.2 on Suse 8.2, until now I didn't had any problem compiling 
Gideon.

Also if somebody knows how to avoid export KDEDIRS=/usr/local/kde && 
kbuildsycoca everytime before running Gideon on Suse 8.2.
