In KDevelop 3 I think you use menu Project->Project Options->
Configure Options to configure compilers, etc.  I think there
might be something similar in KDevelop 2.  Try hunting through
anything to do with Options, Settings, Preferences or Configuration:
it's amazing what you find sometimes :-)
