feature or bug?

Hi all,
I have noted that the syntax hightlight in new version "Gideon" was down
graded? Now you can only change color and style ie "bold,italic" but not
font. In version 2.xx you can change color as well as font for the
context.
Is this intended feature or bug? Over all,it's better than version 2.xx
