Staticaly compiling the C and C++ libs

Hi... this may sound a little offtopic but...
I'm using kdevelop to develop ;) a comertial application that is supouse to 
run in any Linu distribution and vertion but I have the problem of the 
diferent vertions of the C and C++ libraries, there is any way to compile a 
binary with thies libs staticaly linked? and if I could, hoy can I tell to 
kdevelop to do it?
