Trouble compiling KDevelop

I am building/running on RH9 without problem using
these two RPMs:

ftp://ftp.rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/9/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS/db4-4.0.14-20.i386.rpm
ftp://ftp.rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/9/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS/db4-devel-4.0.14-20.i386.rpm

You might many to try installing them and see if it
fixes you problem. If it does then uninstall them and
dig through their install scripts to see what they did
different.
