Chars problems

Hello!
Does anyone knows how to fix this problems?

1)
Every time I run my application I get on errors output the message:

WARNING: KDE detected X Error: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes) 8
  Major opcode:  42

2)
I get the message

kdecore (KAccel): WARNING: Sym::initQt( ffff ): failed to convert key.
kdecore (KAccel): WARNING: Sym::initQt( ffff ): failed to convert key.

when I enter some spanish chars (e.g.: í, ó, ñ) in a text box (qlineedit or 
qmultilineedit)

I'm using Kdevelop 2.1 (with KDE 3.0.0) on Suse 8.0
