Text buttons vs Icon buttons in IDEAl mode

I have been using a kdevelop3 build from a few weeks ago that has the
text buttons around the editor in IDEAl mode (like the gideon screenshot
on the website).  The last few updates seem to use the icon buttons
only.  Is their a way to change the buttons to be text only, icon only
or both?

If not, are their others out there that liked this old mode?
