QT Designer often crashes

Hello,

I have KDE 3.1.1 from Debian Sid running. QT-Designer is nearly unusable 
because it crashes very often. The same problem is on Knoppix.
Do I have to wait for a new version of the QT-Designer? Is a patch available?
