error debugging with FreeBSD

On two systems I have installed FreeBSD and Kdevelop 2.15 from ports 
distributions, I got the following error:

I create a QT or a simple hello world C++ project that kdevelop 
automatically opens. Kdevelop gets frozen when I come to  a line that 
prints on the stdout. For example in the hello world C++ project line 
"cout << "Hello world!";
I have to kill kdevelop then.

Has anyone else have such a problem, or did I do something wrong? Is 
there a problem with FreeBSD and kdevelop? Or with the debugger.
