Gideon... where is the executable?

Hi I have downloaded Gideon from kdevelop.org, compile it, make ir and make 
instaled it, but I don find a way to run it. The INSTALL file says that it is 
instaled in /usr/local/bin, but that's not true, I found a binary named 
gideon in /usr/local/kde/bin but when I run it, I just see an gray empty 
screen with a small menu barr and a tool bar with a few buttons. in the other 
hand it don't show any splash whe is started.
any hint?
