kdevelop crash

Hi all,

I've just downloaded and compiled version 2.1, and everything compiles and 
installs just fine.  But when I try to run it, I get this:

Undefined symbol "ucm_initialize"
KCrash: crashing.... crashRecursionCounter = 2
KCrash: Application Name = kdevelop path = <unknown> pid = 2823
drkonqi: Unknown option '--startupid'.
drkonqi: Use --help to get a list of available command line options.

Can anyone help me figure out what this is all about, and how to get kdevelop 
running for me?  Thanks in advance,
