CTags usage

My locale setting was "en_US". Setting it to "C" does not change the
behaviour.
Just to be sure as I am new to Linux, I changed the language variable
from LANG="en_US" to LANG="C" in the /etc/sysconfig/i18n file and I
logged off. Is that enough ?
