configure.in faulty after creating new subdir

I have a project with many subdirs. When in file view clicking the right mouse 
button on a directory entry and selecting "create new subdir" the 
configure.in file gets faulty at the end of the file where all Makefiles are 
listed. I.e. there are lines created after the closing bracket ")".

I'm using kdevelop distributed on SuSE 8.0 (KDE 3.0)
