Hi Eggert,
check the following page at
http://www.zauruszone.com/howtos/linux_compiler_setup_howto.shtml
with these instructions, I'm able to compile QT applications either for a the
x86 (and running them under qvfb ) or to run on an arm.
Copuple of things:
- please be aware that Qtopia ( at least that's what I understand ) in based
on QT 2.3 and so a QT 3.0 program will not run on a Zaurus ( if somebody can
prove me wrong that'll be great ). I've heard the Opie guys were able to
compile under 3.0, but I'm not sure how they did it ( I believe they might
need to change the whole QPE in the Sharp ).
- Qtopia uses tmake, not qmake ( make sure TMAKEPATH is correctly set up to
/opt/Qtopia/tmake/lib/qws/linux-sharp-g++/ ( for the arm ) or
/opt/Qtopia/tmake/lib/qws/linux-x86-g ( for running under x86 )
- lastly, I'm doing the compilation by hand, not using the Kdevelop
environment for this, since it's easier to switch environment variables on
the fly by using the scripts provided in the above mentioned page.
Hope it helps, send me an e-mail if you have more problems (I'm not an Zaurus
expert but I'm enjoying this crosscompilation stuff ).
