how can i compile only kedit in kdev 1.4 ?

Please help!

I have copied a small program "hello, world" and compiled it successfully.
When I tried to run it I got error message:
FAILURE (KCmdLineArgs):
Application has not called KCmdLineArgs::init(...).

What is the problem? Thnak you for your help.
