how can i compile only kedit in kdev 1.4 ?

I tried to compile kedit from kdeutil... But i have to
compile all stuff.. how can I make just a ./configure
for it ?
thanks and sorry if I am in the wrong list :))
but I want to do it with kdev 1.4
