doxygen doesn't work

Maybe this changed during the releases? I'm running 1.4 on KDE 2.1
The files in my projects are:
	prj/prj.doxygen
	prj/prj/Oxyfile

OK.
I guess the developer created the project without enabeling api-doc. What 
happens inside the project file when checking this option? I couldn't find 
any entries releted to doc-generation or doc location.
