KDevelop 1.4 beta 2 does not save specific file extension (.perl)

Hi,

I tried to work remotely with KDevelop 1.4 beta 2 and I wasn't able to
save perl files with an extension other than the default (.pl). When I
work on the local machine it does save the file with any extension I
want.
Other programs that came with KDE don't seem to have this issue so I
don't think it's the kioslave to blame for this.
